In the 2007 off-season, Mike and Nicole Alstott formed the Mike Alstott Family Foundation. The foundation was formed to allow the Alstott’s to assist others in uplifting the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children on their way to realizing their full potential through various events, assistance programs, and celebrations. The foundation will work with various non-profit organizations and individuals including but not limited to, Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Pinellas, Special Olympics Florida, The Angelus House, All Children’s Hospital, and the Children’s Cancer Center. In addition, the foundation will work with the local media to identify local individuals and families who may be in need of assistance due to unforeseen circumstances. The foundation also has plans to help provide meals during Thanksgiving and toys during Christmas time, Including Mike and his family cooking and serving Thanksgiving Dinner to those families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in St. Petersburg.
